Intel Core i9 18Core Processor

Intel introduced Intel Core i9

Intel’s Core i9 Extreme Edition CPU is an 18-core beast. It’s the flagship model among Intel’s new X-Series chips.

Last year at Computex, Intel unveiled its first 10-core consumer CPU, the company's move into the world of a "megatasking." It was a pricey chip, launching at around $1,700, but it satisfied users who needed to juggle several intensive tasks at once. Now, Intel is upping the ante with a new family of processors for enthusiasts, the Core X-series, and it's anchored by the company's first 18-core CPU, the i9-7980XE.

Priced at $1,999, the 7980XE is clearly not a chip you'll see in an average desktop. Instead, it's more of a statement from Intel. It beats out AMD's 16-core Threadripper CPU, which was slated to be that company's most powerful consumer processor for 2017. And it gives Intel yet another way to satisfy the demands of power-hungry users who might want to do things like play games in 4K while broadcasting them in HD over Twitch. And, as if its massive core count wasn't enough, the i9-7980XE is also the first Intel consumer chip that packs in over a teraflop's worth of computing power.

If 18 cores is a bit too rich for you, Intel also has other Core i9 Extreme Edition chips in 10-, 12-, 14- and 16-core variants. Perhaps the best news for hardware geeks: The 10 core i9-7900X will retail for $999, a significant discount from last year's version.

All of the i9 chips feature base clock speeds of 3.3GHz, reaching up to 4.3GHz dual-core speeds with Turbo Boost 2.0 and 4.5GHz with Turbo Boost 3.0. And speaking of Turbo Boost 3.0, its performance has also been improved in the new Extreme Edition chips to increase both single and dual-core speeds. Rounding out the X-Series family are the quad-core i5-7640X and i7 models in 4-, 6- and 8-core models.

While it might all seem like overkill, Intel says its Core i9 lineup was driven by the surprising demand for last year's 10-core chip. "Broadwell-E was kind of an experiment," an Intel spokesperson told Engadget. "It sold ... proving that our enthusiast community will go after the best of the best... Yes, we're adding higher core count, but we're also introducing lower core counts. Scalability on both ends are what we went after."

As you can imagine, stuffing more cores into a processor leads to some significant heat issues. For that reason, Intel developed its own liquid cooling solution, which will work across these new chips, as well as some previous generations. All of the new Core i9 processors, along with the 6- and 8-core i7 chips, feature scorching hot 140W thermal design points (TDPs), the maximum amount of power that they'll draw. That's the same as last year's 10-core CPU, but it's still well above the 91W TDP from Intel's more affordable i7-7700K.

Over the past few years, Intel's laptop chips have been far more interesting than its desktop CPUs. Partially, that's because the rise of ultraportables and convertible laptops have shifted its focus away from delivering as much computing power as possible, to offering a reasonable amount of processing power efficiently. The new Core i9 X-series processors might not be feasible for most consumers, but for the hardware geeks who treat their rigs like hot rods, they're a dream come true.

Google Pixel XL vs Apple iPhone 7 Plus

Google brings our first ever phone made by Google with the help of HTC but this is their design that has a strong resemblance to the iPhone though the pixel XL goes for a slightly wet shave designs that stick at the top and then at the bottom but that means no camera bump is glassine bag place of the fingerprint sensor there and I'm a fan it weighs 20 grams lighter and it's actually easier to hold in one hand compared to the iPhone 700 yeah it also brings a 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a stellar 534 pixels print Apple's iPhone 7 plus remind you of the past two iPhones before it antenna lines are gone the whole bunch still the fingerprint sensor the overall look and feel is the same it's not bad it's just what it is you'll still get the Camera bump this time it's a dual lens one it's LCD display Trail significantly with 401 pixels per inch but it was rated the most color after this play that's ever been tested on a mobile device and that's a feat no there's no clear winner here this just isn't as easy as it used to be and I'm calling this round but I mean if you don't want to hear that next round speakers the pixel XL may not be waterproofed and it doesn't have a removable battery or memory card expansion like its other Android Brethren but it does have the Google assistant is conversational it's faster and smarter and surprised it's still not perfect but it's hands-down the best AI on any phone today and it's better than anything Siri can do right now it's real fingerprint sensor might feel foreign to iPhone users but it's a natural place oh yeah the pixel has a headphone jack the iPhone doesn't this isn't the most feature-rich phone right now but it's the best pure Android phone we've seen and nougat is the best representation of Android for someone who's serious about seeing what's on the other side of the fence now the iPhone 7 plus is the first truly waterproof iPhone with an IP67 rating it survives in a meter of water for 30 minutes and guess what the pixel doesn't have to come by and felt weird at first but now I like it 3D touch just hasn't come together like we hoped it would and you can do some other things with a long press on Android now it also has stereo speakers when you use it horizontally the pixel doesn't it's subtle but the iPhone 7 alternative best haptic Engine with different vibrations and intensity depending on how you're using your phone and you can never underestimate the power of the ecosystem the App Store and iTunes have real staying power and even Apple's messages app has surpassed the three or four different Google messaging platform that exists on a pixel not Apple normally gets destroyed by Android phones when it comes to Features the pixel has the Best Buy but I need just a little more so we're giving the edge to Apple round 3 of Scandal the iPhone has long held a reputation of being one of the best if not the best smartphone camera but that's about to change and to the Google pixel not rated the best camera on a mobile device ever for both pixel and pixel XL by dxomark seen that put these two cameras to the test and the proof was in the pudding richer colors more image details and warmer natural tones were consistent for the pixel camera and we're talking low light images the pixel perform better there as well again with more detail and depth of the iPhone 7 dual camera lens gets major props words to exhume and its portrait mode perform significantly better than the pixels blur mode but 90% of your pictures aren't going to be buffet style unless you're really into that Apple uses Optical image stabilization and Google uses electronic in a stable station is XL for sale imagery a little light while he is excels for video and the Google pixel already out performs the iPhone 7 that is using or is So Do I'll be surprised anymore the Google pixel XL is the best camera on a mobile device the final round is performed both of these phones are snipe performers I haven't experienced the locker decoration that I see on other Android phones but let's get the specs of the way the pixel XL brings a quad-core Snapdragon 821 before he's around the iPhone seven rings a quad-core A10 processor with 3 gigs Ram reports are showing 32gig capacity iPhone 7 price significantly slower to memory compared to the higher capacities now and geek bench Benchmark the iPhone 7 plus blue the Google pixel out of the water but in real world usually not a major difference both of these guys again are snipe know the 3D Ice Storm unlimited Graphics test the iPhone 7 plus once again I'll perform the pixel as well now the pixel XL has a larger battery

Are You Lost In The World Like Me

Technology is evolving us, as we become a screen-staring, button-clicking new version of homo sapiens. We now rely on "external brains" (cell phones and computers) to communicate, remember, even live out secondary lives. But will these machines ultimately connect or conquer us? Case offers surprising insight into our cyborg selves.

As we expect more from technology, do we expect less from each other? how our devices and online personas are redefining human connection and communication — and asks us to think deeply about the new kinds of connection we want to have.
We are not Human any more we are stuck to our screens we are no more connected with humans around us.

INFINIX ZERO 4

Infinix Zero 4 And Zero 4 Plus

What To Expect, Exclusive Pics

infinix zero 4 specs

From the look of things, Infinix Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus might be the last smartphones from the smartphone giant Infinix Mobility for the year.

It is becoming a tradition, where a phone from the Zero series will be the phone to end year for them and it seems they like saving the best for last.

Last year was Infinix Zero 3 coming after the launch of Infinix Note 2, and here we are again with Zero 4 and Zero 4 Plus coming after the launch of Infinix Note 3 and Note 3 Pro.

And this will be the first time we will see a phone from the Zero series in 2 versions.

Zero 4 will come as X555 while Zero 4 Plus will come as X574.

The main power house here is Infinix Zero 4 Plus which will likely come with MediaTek Helio X20 64-bit mesh coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage.

Infinix Zero 4 Plus will have the same rear camera MP with Zer0 3 (20.7 MP), but with different front camera (8MP).

On the other hand, Infinix Zero 4 will have 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.

Zero 4 will feature 3200mAh battery while Zero 4 Plus will come with 4000mAh battery capacity.

As at this time, we are yet to confirm the screen size of Zero 4 Plus, but it looks like it is going to be slightly bigger than that of Zero 4, (with 5.7″ display for Zero 4 Plus against 5.5″ display for Zero 4).

Both devices will feature Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection with full HD display and a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

We are also yet to confirm whether Zero 4 will support 4G network, but we can confirm that for Zero 4 Plus.

Infinix Zero 4 Plus

Both devices feature a design that is similar to that of Note 3, but even more similar to the design of HTC 10.
